"Where Praise & Worship Finds Its Soul"

    Crossway Worship Band is not following traditional methods of releasing music because God has given us a unique purpose. Most of the songs our congregation sings at Crossway are written by CWB. And because we write together every week, we continually introduce new songs, keeping the worship experience fresh and personal. Our music may be fun or deeply moving, but it is always pure & simple, what the Lord lays on our hearts for whoever is listening at the time. 

    Worship is an offering of love & honor and Praise is a celebration of who God is and who we are in Christ. But all forms of communion with God are meant to be two way channels. As we open ourselves up to God in worship, we too are often set free from bondage, healed from life's secret pains, and God calls forth from our lips and instruments what He is ready to release to His body at that time. But the body of Christ expands the globe and has many denominations, cultures, & methods of worship. We want to reach them all!  

   Memphis is not only the 'buckle of the Bible belt', but a melting pot of cultures, and the birthplace of rock, soul, rhythm & blues. God has given CWB a unity in music and spirit that is bringing denominations and races together to worship God on common ground. 

    Our CDs and concerts are reaching people in the streets -- the unchurched -- and bringing them into the presence of God through worship they can relate to, maybe for the first time -- music that has found them right where they are, outside church walls, outside Christian bookstores.  From America to Africa & Asia, Costa Rica to Mexico -- through free downloads, free CD gifts to people in missions, shelters, hospitals, & prisons, or CDs made available for purchase at the register in local restaurants, coffee shops, and gas stations -- whatever it takes... that's where we're going. This is Praise & Worship served Memphis style, and its not just for churches anymore!  

    CWB is releasing Memphis style Praise and Worship to other congregations around the world. But we are desperate to place our music in the hands of people who AREN'T looking for it, yet are longing for a way to communicate with God without words. We want to give our music to those who enjoy and want it and simply cannot afford to buy a CD. One way we accomplish this is via the internet. We now 'stream' our services live on Sunday mornings at worshipservice.net, and save them on the Website as free downloads for listener convenience. Podcasts are also available now for recent services.  We are writing and recording weekly with plans to release CD collections annually on indie label sysrecords.com and publishing company syspublishing.org. 

    We are busy doing what God has given us, to the very best of our abilities, sacrificing time, energy, and money to keep moving and stay on track. These CDs are as strong as we can make them without investing more than we can give away if that's what God tells us to. He is providing generously & opening doors we couldn't imagine everywhere we go, and all He asks from us is commitment, generosity, and to keep HIS agenda ahead of our own. So it is with all God asks His people to do, so keep the faith and always keep moving... knowing He's gone before you to prepare the way.

   Pray for us whenever you think of us! Come and celebrate with us when you can. It's going to be a wild ride and lots of folks will think we're crazy but we are doing better than ever with a growing, devoted, unified body of Christ. Crossway Church is an awesome family of unpaid servants ministering in everyday life, from children to adults. Folks are driving for hours to Memphis to attend our services after hearing us on the Web & some are moving here!!
